Beach lover and artisan, Lou Ann Davis, trademarked her company name, Live in Flip Flops in 2012, and through her one-of-a-kind, ocean-inspired creations, Live in Flip Flops has become a “lifestyle.”
Lou Ann’s growing business creates one-of-a-kind products to remind her patrons of the beach year ‘round. Vibrant clocks and colorful cabinet knobs, created from sea glass, shells and resin, are her latest in-demand products.
Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Lou Ann and her professional singer husband, Rick, hunted sea glass, by kayak, on deserted island beaches along Maryland’s Eastern Shore. When they made their move to Florida 14 years ago, the sea glass came with them, and Lou Ann now incorporates these gems into her unique gift items and home decor.
